Interventional radiologists perform minimally invasive image guided procedures to diagnose and treat conditions throughout the entire body. Interventional Radiology (IR) is one of the most rapidly expanding areas of medicine. Using the most advanced technology and techniques, interventional radiologists provide non-surgical treatment options that have less risk, less pain, less recovery time and better results.

Interventional radiologists use a variety of high tech cameras and imaging equipment to view the inside of the body on a screen while manipulating special tools outside of the body. Most procedures require only a very small incision and can be completed on an outpatient basis.

With 5 fellowship trained interventional radiologists, Tyler Radiology Associates o provides services at local  hospitals.  Our vast experience and extensive coverage locations allows patients access to minimally invasive procedures with experienced physicians at their local hospital that are traditionally only offered at large urban medical centers. Interventional radiologists continue to pioneer techniques so that patients recover more quickly allowing them to get back to their lives and family.
